How to reach us

To help us route your message quickly, please add a clear subject line. A few examples:

• Listing claim — for taking ownership of an existing CitedX listing. Include your business name, the CitedX URL, and brief proof of association (a company email address, Companies House registration number, or your business website).
• New listing — to add a business that isn’t yet on CitedX.
• Partnership — for agencies, chambers of commerce, trade bodies, and platforms interested in working together.
• Press — for journalists, podcasters, and analysts.
• Correction — to report inaccurate or outdated information on a listing.
• General — for everything else.

We aim to reply within two business days. Most responses arrive much sooner.

Before you write

A quick check first — your question might already be answered:

• How do I add my business? Free listings are available to every UK business. Visit our Claim listing page to submit yours, or search to see whether we’ve already created one for you.
• How much does it cost? Listings are free, forever. Optional AEO+ features are explained on our Pricing page.
• What is AEO and why does it matter? Our About page covers the basics: how AI engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, and Claude choose which businesses to mention, and what CitedX does differently.
• Can I remove my listing? Yes, at any time. Email us from a verifiable business address and we’ll action it promptly.

Reporting an issue

Spotted incorrect information, an outdated business, or something that shouldn’t be on the directory? We rely on the community to keep CitedX accurate. Send a quick note with the listing URL and what needs fixing. We take every report seriously and review within one working day.

Press and media

Journalists, podcasters, and analysts covering AI search, UK SMEs, or the future of digital discovery are very welcome to get in touch. Use Press in the subject line and we’ll come back to you the same day where possible. We’re happy to share commentary, original data, and insight on how UK businesses are appearing in AI-generated answers.

Partnerships and integrations

We’re particularly keen to hear from organisations supporting UK SMEs with AEO and GEO services, agencies enrolling client portfolios, and data providers who can help us improve listing quality. Use Partnership in the subject line so we can route your message to the right person.

Office and operating hours

CitedX is a UK-based, remote-first team. We answer emails Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm GMT, and most messages receive a same-day reply during those hours. Weekend enquiries are picked up first thing on Monday.

A note on data and privacy

When you email us, we use the information you send only to respond to your enquiry. We don’t add you to marketing lists without permission, and we don’t share your details with third parties. Full details are in our Privacy policy, which is fully UK GDPR compliant.
